Founded as a social business by Joseph Trentin and based in Miami Beach, Florida, Med Vac is an industry leader in rapid diagnostic tests, including Covid, rotovirus, influenza, hepatitis, herpes, HIV, and others. Med Vac also manufactures, imports, and distributes thousands of different pharmaceuticals and vaccines across the world. A portion of our profits go to fund non-profit care in Haiti, Philippines, Malawi and others.
Joe has 24 years experience in the pharmaceutical business which includes GlaxoSmithKline, Co-founder of MedPharm and current CFO of Med Vac. He completed the one of the world’s first debt-for-health projects, including de-worming 8 million children. He also worked to complete the largest USDA monetization program of vaccines, including 26 million doses of hepatitis B in Russia, Azerbaijan and Tajikistan. Joe is passionate about making Med Vac a social business that gives back to the communities where we work. He works with the Tacha Fund to provide breast cancer treatment to those in low-income countries, conflict zones, and refugee camps.
Dr. Vince is an internal medicine doctor, epidemiologist, and public health specialist who has worked in ten countries around the world implementing public health programs focused on disaster relief and chronic disease management. He splits his time between Haiti, and Miami, FL, in the Department of Medicine at Florida International University College of Medicine. He also works as the Medical Director of Haiti Air Ambulance. As a staunch advocate for social justice, he fights to increase access to healthcare in developing countries, including helping to build national cancer programs in Rwanda, Haiti, and recently in Somaliland. A portion of the profits from Med Vac go to fund his work in Haiti, Malawi, and Somaliland through the non-profit Innovating Health International.
Pamela is proud of being a minority and an influential woman running a company with a global reach. Pamela has worked in sales for over a decade and traveled the world extensively as a businesswoman.
